Project ASEAN Contemporary Art Workshop

2. Rationale
The policy of Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN assembles the member countries for collaboration in politics, economic security, society, and culture to promote collaboration and social and cultural security. Creation of contemporary culture in art such as visual art and design, music and performance art from ASEAN and other network nation other than ASEAN region is an integration and learning and sharing among scholars, artists, lecturers, students, and interested people. This enhances experiences of ideas and attitude to create contemporary art and culture. Nowadays, Contemporary arts appears in various creative and interest forms, methods, and process with exotic presentation. The process and outcome from these creative works bring about economic and historical value and development of regional, national, and international contemporary art. These creative art productions can be used to apply to knowledge management in a form of art collection and art process documentary or others. They can be managed during the activity of the project and after the project ends the productions in the form of media and online database become learning facility especially for 21st Century Learning Skills and Lifelong Learning. They will be the research information database for students, lecturers and people in community and society. The ASEAN Contemporary Art Workshop hence is the promotion of the new academic service that connects onsite and online participants to the learning database and social wisdom center. Also, it is to create development collaboration between contemporary art organization from national and international government and public section.
3. Objectives
3.1 to create creative collaboration in ASEAN contemporary rt workshop and creative network from other regions.
3.2 to be the database for creative works and research resource for students, lecturers, and community.
