มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษา พัฒนาการ งานหัตถกรรมชนเผ่ากะตู 2)เพื่อศึกษา รูปแบบ คติสัญลักษณ์  งานหัตถกรรมชนเผ่ากะตู 3)เพื่อออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ จากการประยุกต์ใช้ รูปแบบ คติสัญลักษณ์ จากหัตถกรรมชนเผ่ากะตู เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วยแบบสำรวจ แบบสังเกต แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง และไม่มีโครงสร้าง โดยงานวิจัยนี้เป็นการผสมผสานงานวิจัยซึ่งส่วนแรกเป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ และส่วนหลังคืองานวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ โดยตรวจสอบความถูกต้องจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ ด้านศิลปกรรม ด้านวัฒนธรรม และด้านเนื้อหางานวิจัย ทั้งในประเทศไทย และสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว และวิเคราะห์โดยใช้หลักทฤษฎีที่เกี่ยวข้อง จากผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้เชี่ยวชาญมีความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับ รูปแบบ ลวดลาย จากหัตถกรรมชนเผ่ากะตู มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการออกแบบและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ ในภาพรวม พบว่า

ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทั้ง 3 ท่าน มีความคิดเห็นในระดับความเหมาะสมมากที่สุด คือ 

1) ที่นอนสบาย (Daybed) รูปแบบที่ 3 มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (=4.54) 

2) ที่นั่งสบาย (Easy Chair) รูปแบบที่ 2 ค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (=4.57)

3) โต๊ะกลาง (SideTable) รูปแบบที่ 1 มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (=4.53) 

4) ชั้นเก็บของ (Shelves) รูปแบบที่ 3 มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (=4.49)

5) กรอบศิลปะ (Wallart) รูปแบบที่ 2 มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (=4.50) 

6) ประติมากรรมประดับ (Sculpture Decorate) รูปแบบที่ 1 มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (=4.47)

ผลการวิเคราะห์ความพึงพอใจของกลุ่มผู้ซื้อ หรือผู้ใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ ที่มีต่อผลิตภัณฑ์จากการประยุกต์ใช้ลวดลายจากหัตถกรรมชนเผ่ากะตู ที่ได้รับการออกแบบขึ้นใหม่ โดยศึกษาความพึงพอใจ 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านประโยชน์ใช้สอย ด้านความงาม ด้านความปลอดภัย ด้านคงไว้ซึ่งลวดลายลักษณะเฉพาะถิ่น พบว่า   1) ที่นอนสบาย (Daybed) มีค่าเฉลี่ย รวม  (=4.55)    

2) ที่นั่งสบาย (Easy Chair) มีค่าเฉลี่ย รวม  (=4.48)    

3) โต๊ะกลาง (SideTable) มีค่าเฉลี่ย รวม  (=4.45)    

4) ชั้นเก็บของ (Shelvesมีค่าเฉลี่ย รวม  (=4.35)    

5) กรอบศิลปะ (Wallart) มีค่าเฉลี่ย รวม  (=4.44)    

6) ประติมากรรมประดับ (Sculpture Decorate) มีค่าเฉลี่ย รวม  (=4.52)

ABSTRACT

    Katu Handicraft: A Symbolic Motto to Design Contemporary Products Objective 1) To study the development of Katu handicrafts 2) To study the patterns of motto and symbols of Kathu handicrafts. 3) to design products From the application of the symbolism pattern from the Katu tribe handicraft The data collection tools included surveys, the first part of which is qualitative research. And the latter is quantitative research. By verifying the authenticity of experts in product design, art, culture and research content Both in Thailand And Lao People's Democratic Republic. It was applied in product design and development as a whole. All 3 experts have opinions at the most appropriate level, namely    

        1) Daybed Type 3 was the most average (= 4.54).

        2) Easy Chair Format 2, the most average ( = 4.57).

        3) SideTable Format 1 has the highest average ( = 4.53)

        4) Shelves form 3 was the most average ( = 4.49)

        5) wallart was the most average (= 4.50)

        6) Sculpture Decorate form 1 with the highest average (= 4.47)

The results of analysis of customer satisfaction Or product users Towards products from application of patterns from Katu tribal handicrafts That has been redesigned By studying the satisfaction of 4 aspects : functional, beauty, safety On the maintenance side of the local pattern, it was found that 

        1) daybed had the total mean (= 4.55)

        2) Easy Chair average total (= 4.48)

        3) SideTable has the total mean (= 4.45)

        4) Shelves have a total mean (= 4.35)

        5) Wallart has the total mean (= 4.44)

        6) Sculpture Decorate has a total mean (= 4.52)
